2018

NSDAR AWARDS

  • Sue Kelly Ballard – Wo­men of the Arts Rec­og­nition Award in Lit­erature and Drama Auth­orship for her book, “My Blessed, Wretched Life – Rebecca Boone’s Story” by the National American Heritage Committee.
  • National American Heritage Committee awards were presented to Nancy Raine, first-place fiber arts hand-quilted quilt and third place crafts basketry; Beverly Heath, first place arts and sculpture China painting; and Linda King, second place fiber arts crocheting. These ladies received certificates and blue ribbons from State Regent Leslie Miller. First-place winners Raine’s quilt and Heath’s china painting were exhibited in Washington, D.C. during Continental Congress June 27-30 at DAR Headquarters.
  • Joyce Miller received an award for outstanding contribution to Constitution Week promotion.
  • CJVM Chapter received awards for Excellence in Constitution Week Leadership and Chapter Achievement Award Level 1.
