Sue Kelly Ballard was awarded the Women of the Arts Recognition Award in literature and drama authorship for her book, “My Blessed, Wretched Life – Rebecca Boone’s Story” by the National American Heritage Committee.
The Captain Jacob Van Meter Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution Vice-Regent Sharon Williams, left, and Regent Joyce Miller, right, were honored to present Israel Ray, administrator for the Radcliff Veterans Center, an American flag. The flag was flown over the United States Capitol in honor of the opening of the Radcliff Veterans Center commemorated by the Captain Jacob Van Meter Chapter NSDAR at the request of Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell. The Veterans Center is scheduled to open in April.
